Jemma Tsukha

Jemma Tsukha is the daughter of Virna, Angel of Eclipse, and his wife Yifang, Deity of Darkness. She has a twin sister, Juneah Kadver, although they are seperated at birth and don't reunite until Divan Lauroch's pact with Tyriel Anamadaí becomes known to the Diatians.

Appearance

Jemma is described as having warm sandy-gold skin, punctuated by the familiar wasteland sight of Sunstone Disease's signature mottling. Like Juneah, Jemma has streaks of white in her hair, although due to the effects of Sunstone on melanin the rest of her hair is significantly lighter than her sister's, more of a chestnut brown than anything. Her good eye is stained the same bright neon as the yellowcake “dye” in her hair, whilst her blind eye is crimson and pupil-less.

She loves to wear bright and gaudy outfits in the least-appropriate sitations, even going so far as to wear a breezy dress shirt and blazer while out on scavenging runs in the ice. Thanks to being undead Jemma has no need for sunlight-protective-gear or long sleeves, no need for warm clothing and parasols.

Jemma's favourite weapon is her pre-war crowbar, routinely choosing it over any sensible option due to the fact bullets and plasma can't kill her no matter how close-range they are. This has led to a habit of Jemma “scaring” opponents with unhinged behaviour to get them to freeze up for just long enough that she can close the distance between them and strike.

Her backup is a reset EID Pistol model “T0V-K8”, nicknamed “Kate”. Whilst her shot gets worse the longer the sunstone progresses, she has absolutely no issue with just throwing the pistol at opponents instead if she's struggling to steady it.

Personality

Jemma's personality is often a coin-toss thanks to the Sunstone deep in her brain and the strange nature of her infection. Most days she's cheerful and upbeat, her curious nature making her a natural fit for Havenbourne's scavenging team. When the Sunstone's flaring up however, Jemma becomes wildly manic and will lose any sense of personal safety, charging into the path of live fire or radiation like she's immortal.

She's intensely friendly with those she's deemed trustworthy, determined to have as many friends as one woman can, and despite her issues she would rather die than betray a loved one.

Backstory

Jemma and Juneah were born from the moons of Virna's realm, Feizhas, after Tye partially enthralled Virna and tore through the magic holding the realm together. The twins were seperated as newborns and brought down to earth by Corcruil to keep them safe from the war. Jemma was placed with Rilta Shaguda at Lygari's order, whilst Juneah went to live with Corcruil's old friend Fellin. Earth was considered the safest place to hide the twins due to Ivory's Stratosphere Curse, which made the surface almost impenetrable to attacks by Tye's Madaíc magic.
